Queens native, Anthony Lee aka Lee Beats of “The Amazinz” recently took a day off from the studio to talk with Just The Facts. In this brief interview, Lee speaks on how French Montana’s “Pop That” came about and how the record ended up in Montana’s hands. He also speaks on how the immediate success of the record has benefitted his emerging career.
Despite this being his biggest placement in his catalog, this isn’t Lee’s first set of credited work. He’s been featured on both Kid Ink’s “Up & Away” debut and Freeway’s “The Intermission”, which was released in 2011.
Lee also gives us a couple of exclusives within his interview. First, he mentions working with Fabolous and the result being two records created. There’s no official word yet on when or where those records will surface. Second, Lee gives us an exclusive “Pop That” re-creation in studio.
